Irina Kulikova plays Tedesco
Yesterday’s post about competition winners included a video of a piece by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco. Naturally, I was sucked into Youtube for a chunk of time and came across this video of Tedesco’s concerto in D major. The soloist is Irina Kulikova. That was just lovely! It almost brought me to tears. :’) I don’t exactly know what’s with classical guitar music that it draws out that emotion from me.
Or maybe it’s also when I watch or see the guitarists how he/she plays and I get to feel the passion and love for music. I think I can then call it “magical”, or I guess more than that. *sigh*
